Catering Guarantee
The guaranteed number of guests
attending a banquet is required 48 hours prior to the function.
The Hotel will be prepared to serve 5% above the guaranteed number.
The convener will be billed for the guaranteed number given or the actual
attendance whichever is greater. All food and beverage consumed in the
banquet facilities must be supplied by the Hotel and consumed within
the Hotel. Meal selection is required 14 days in advance.
Food allergies or special requests must be requested in advance. All
food and beverage prices are subject to 13% HST and 15% Gratuity.
Payment & Cancellation
Policy
A $1000.00 is required to confirm
booking. This deposit guarantees your banquet room and is 90% refundable
if cancellation is received in writing to the Catering Department 12
months prior to the event. Cancellation that is received less than 12
months notice is non-refundable. Total prepayment is due 1 week prior
to event. In cases of Host Bar or Tickets, a credit card is required
so charges can be posted at the end of your event. The rental fees are
based on a 12 hour rental agreement, 2:00pm – 2:00am. The Hotel reserves
the right to provide an alternate function room if guaranteed numbers
decrease. Minimum guarantee for 130 meals is required for the Harbour
room.
Guest room Reservations
Book your rooms early to ensure
availability. Guest rooms that are not picked up 30 days prior to the
event will be released back to the hotel and the discounted rate will
not be available.
Decorating
The hotel is not responsible
for decorating the function room. The Head table, Cake table, &
Guest Signing Table will be dressed with white linens and skirting.
Our Catering department can provide you with a list of reputable decorators.
Decorating guidelines are as follows: No open flamed candles, no pot-pouri
or confetti on table cloths, no affixing of any items on the walls,
floors or ceiling of rooms with nails, staples, tape or any substance
unless approval is given by the catering Department. Access to the room
is 12:00 pm on the day of the function, unless prior arrangements have
been made with the catering Department. All decorations must be taken
down at the end of the function.
